Golden Gate Endeavor - Aerial, Marine and Ground Production

Chris Martin and Mick Dawson set off from Choshi, Japan at 5:30 GMT on Friday May 2009. Their destination was the Golden Gate Bridge in the San Francisco Bay. SFBayImages.com got involved in their project in early November when friends contacted us about Chris and Mick running out of food. I (Sandra Cannon) escorted the helicopter pilot and crew that provided a food dropfilming and photographing the event. We flew 110 miles out over the Pacific Ocean on November 8th to find the boys and drop supplies. You can see a video from that drop on this website.

As Mick and Chris got closer to their destination we were asked by Lantern Films to produce aerial, marine and interview footage
of their arrival. They arrived under the San Francisco Bay on November 13th, 2009.  189 Days, 10 Hours, 55 MinutesThis is a short taster from the aerial footage we produced.  Lantern Films is producing a documentary on the voyage.
